Outreach Ministries
St. Bartholomew's is very involved in community, regional, and global Outreach. Here are some highlights. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
Northtown Pregnancy Center
St. Bartholomew's has been actively involved in supporting and working with the Northtown Pregnancy Center.
The Northtown Pregnancy Center is an important ministry because, in their own words: it is not enough to say no to abortion. The Christian must say “yes” to life, and back that up with actions that speak louder than words and slogans. We are here, because it is not enough to talk about problems in society such as out of wedlock births. Instead, we must pull together in faith to show that there is truly a more excellent way. And we are here, because the answer to the needs of a hurting world is in the Lord Jesus Christ. We present Him in love, knowing that He is the hope that those who come in our door need more than anything else. Click here for a PDF of the Northtown Pregnancy Center Brochure. Boxes of Love
St. Bartholomew's has partnered with the Buffalo Dream Center's Boxes of Love.
Boxes of Love began with one church helping five families with Christmas dinner and toys. Over the years, Boxes of Love has grown into a coalition of churches, businesses, and individuals who work together in partnership to help families in the Buffalo area. Pastors and church leaders from around the United States and Canada have traveled to Buffalo to learn how to do the same thing in their communities. Each year Boxes of Love takes place in several different states as well as India, Pakistan, and Albania. For more information on the 2016 program, click here. UB Campus Ministry
We are connected with a number of Christ centered ministries on the University at Buffalo campus and open to all denominations. Men and women of all ages can enjoy fellowship and share in God’s love. Contact Deacon John Reitz.
